Amy Willard is a 22 year old aspiring photographer originally from the shores of Connecticut. She has recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree at the Catholic University of America and is currently located in the Washington DC area.
She has been taking photographs since as long as she can remember. Her training began over six years ago with a basic introduction to photography class. Since then, she has continued to expand upon her knowledge with valuable first-hand experience.
She began her career with a secondhand setup and could not be more grateful to those who have donated their old equipment to her over the years. Their generosity has allowed her to frame the world in ways she never could have imagined.
Amy Willard specializes in concert photography, believing that there is nothing more thrilling or rewarding than capturing the true essence of a performer in under 9.7 minutes.
You can find her work published with Barricade Buzz, and with Alternative Press magazine for the 2009 AP Tour, 2009 Van's Warped Tour, Blink 182, and The Fall Ball
